Honored to share some law & management perspectives on compliance and corporate governance in Brazil, today at the ABD&A (Brazilian Association of Law & Administration) National Congress at INSPER-SP.
We are definitely witnessing a very rapid world renewal, facing its immediate consequences, and our professional dealings related to compliance and corporate governance cannot remain as obsolete and out of date as they have been, by using the same tools and mental models to address the issues (first, because the very issues are not the same anymore; second, because all the scenario has changed and therefore its own expected outcomes).
In this sense, there is an urgent need for a deep dive into those matters, in an interdisciplinary approach, with a law & management perspective, so that we may become more prepared not only to address those today’s issues but also to answer tomorrow’s expectations!
Congratulations to all ABD&A team for putting together such a great program, as well as for the outstanding organization, and particularly to Luciana Yeung, who, apart from being a fantastic INSPER host for everyone, is one of the most significant Law & Economics references in Latin America and was one of the key people responsible to make this event happen!
